Help on Using Particle System

Is there any information on how to add a particle system via code, I am having no luck with it.

What I have tried so far:

1) added particle system manager via sunburn.addmanager in my application class 

2) created a particle system "bulletParticles" in a game component

3) set the effect of "bulletParticles" to a new EmitterCollection containing a box emitter (particle texture asset path set here)

4) set the billboardstyle, controllers of the bulletParticles.Effect.Emitters[0]

5) initialize bulletParticles.Effect.Emitters[0]

6) submit particle system "bulletParticles" to particle system manager

7) update "bulletParticles.Effect.Emitters[0] in game component

 

Any help or working example would be greatly appreciated,

Hi Rob,

I'll get some documentation about it up as soon as I can. I'm currently busy with a bunch of personal priorities but documenting the framework is definitivelly on the top of my tasks.

Hi Philippe,

That would be great. I found my issue, particle system need proxies.
