Screens as Backgrounds?

Is it possible to have a screen be drawn behind a 3D model or have particle effects show in fornt of screens? For instance I have a menu screen where I want to show the 3D model over laying it and allow users to rotate the model around.

I'd suggest you to create a dedicated BackgroundLayer (inheriting from the Layer class) that would draw whatever your want as a background using say, a spritebatch for instance.

Then, make sure to add this layer before a SunBurnLayer that you would use to render your 3D object.

Finally, make your Gui as usual.

It'll be up to you to catch the input from the player to rotate the 3d object, but this should give you the expected result I guess.
