Creating particle effects

I'm trying to add particle effects from IGF.

I'm adding a reference to Indiefreaks.Game.Mercury  and Indiefreaks.Game.Particles to my project and also a reference to Indiefreaks.Game.Mercury to my content project.

Then I make a ParticleManager and a ParticleSystem and load the BasicExplosion effect from the Particle Systems Editor / ProjectMercury.EffectEditor / EffectLibrary folder.


But I get an error on line 10 of the effect saying XML element "Enabled" not found.


Could anybody explain what I'm doing wrong here?

Sorry I realised I  was doing this completely wrong. I have just purchased the Ace on Steroids source code and can see what to do now

I'm glad you got it solved on your own ;)

I wish I could spend more time on tutorials and documentation but I'm running out of spare time :(

Hopefully, I'll see this change in the coming months so that I can get back to it.

Until then, if anyone has some free time to go for tutorials, videos or documentation, since this is an open source project, I'd be glad to add your contribution to the framework ;)
