Portrait mode

I was wondering what all I will need to change besides DisplayOrientation to put AoS in portrait mode. Right now it's just showing half the screen with black space above and below. Is this because of the scene file or is there something else I will need to change in code? Also is there an Indiefreaks and Synapse portrait splashscreen?

Striker, I can see several places where to define the screen:

  • In the Application.Initialize() override, make sure to reset the GraphicsDeviceManager.PreferredBackBufferWidth and PreferredBackBufferHeight to whatever resolution you'd like
  • In GameState constructor, make sure to pass it the same resolution.

I don't know for SynapseGaming but I don't have an Indiefreaks splash screen in portrait mode...
But why would you bother the Indiefreaks one? There are no obligations to present it while SunBurn is. I don't want your players to be forced to see an additional splashscreen while IGF doesn't need to be advertised to them ;)
